It's very important to take full dose of antibiotic for strep
throat
If a patient who suffers from strep throat decides to bypass the
antibiotic, and toughs the disease out, then he/she will get well
after the ailment runs its full course after about five days, but they
will remain contagious for up to another three weeks. It is why it's
recommended that one gets antibiotic for strep throat. While
antibiotic for strep throat must be administered by prescription when
strep culture has been developed in the laboratory, which usually
takes 48 to 72 hours, sometimes it is good to put the patient on
antibiotics for strep throat right away if he/she is too ill and
cannot afford to wait or the strep culture.
Should they test negative, then they should be put off the
antibiotic for strep throat immediately. Antibiotics will speed up
healing and they will prevent the other complications that might
result from the disease. Such might include rheumatic fever or
tonsillitis which is far more serious than the strep throat
itself. The best thing however about antibiotics for strep throat is
that one remains contagious or only 48 hours and then he is free to
mingle with the others.
With self prognosis, a patient will be put on antibiotic drugs that
have been manufactured from the product allicin. Most of them can be
known by their names. Or example, penicillin and amoxicillin are just
a few of the drugs that are manufactured from this wonderful magnolia
tree bark extract and they have proved effective and popular over
time. Care should be taken during administration such that they are
not overdosed as this could be fatal. Once they have been prescribed,
the doctors dosage orders should be followed to the letter. Most of
antibiotics will be taken for about ten days and it is imperative that
someone takes them for that long so that he/she might be fully cured
of the disease.
However, if one takes the antibiotics for just a few days, say five
days, and then stops assuming that he/she has felt well, then the
streptococcal bacteria that reside behind the ears and in the nasal
cavities become resistant to antibiotics. When an ample time for them
to attack presents itself, mostly when the immunity is down, the
bacteria will resist the antibiotic drugs in the administration of
allicin related drugs; patients should be tested for allergic
reactions against these drugs because many people are allergic to
them. This would bring along other complications alongside the healing
of the disease. Should that be the case, then other options should be
administered.
